The Zion Narrows, where the Virgin River has carved a narrow gorge, boasts canyon walls that tower thousands of feet high. The Narrows are only 15 feet wide in some places. The most popular part of the park, Zion Canyon, offers many hiking trails allowing visitors a close-up look at its magnificent landscape.
